This Privacy Policy explains how Veehk ("Veehk", "we", "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit this website or use the Veehk app, and describes the rights available to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

Information we collect

• Information you provide: name, email, phone, and account details when you sign up, contact us, or join our waitlist.
• Usage & device data: pages viewed, interactions, approximate location, browser and device information, collected via analytics.
• Service data (in the app): trip, order, and payment information necessary to provide the services you request.

How we use your information

• Provide, operate, and improve our website and services.
• Process transactions and deliver the services you request.
• Communicate with you, including launch and product updates you opt into.
• Maintain security, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

How we share information

We share personal information with service providers who process it on our behalf (e.g., analytics, hosting, payment processing) under contract, and as required by law. We do not sell your personal information for money. Certain analytics activity may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CPRA; you may opt out below.

Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know / access the personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it.
• Delete personal information we have collected, subject to exceptions.
• Correct inaccurate personal information.
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
• Limit the use of sensitive personal information.
• Non-discrimination for exercising your rights.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

To opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, email support@veehk.us.comwith the subject "Do Not Sell or Share", or use the opt-out link in our footer. We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals where required.

Text messages (SMS)

If you give us your mobile phone number, we use it to send text messages through the VeeHK Messages program. We send:

• One-time login and verification codes when you request them.
• Account and order notifications, such as driver application approved or cashout sent.
• Safety alerts to the trusted contacts you add in the app.
• Marketing texts, only if you tick the optional SMS checkbox or turn on marketing texts in the app (Privacy Center for riders, Notification preferences for drivers).

Consent.When you enter your phone number in the Veehk app or this website, below the phone field you see a separate, optional checkbox that is unchecked by default. Its label reads: "Yes, text me ride updates and offers from Veehk. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of using Veehk." You can sign in without ticking it. The one-time code is sent only because you request it, and recurring and marketing texts are sent only if you tick the box. SMS consent is not a condition of using Veehk or of any purchase. You can change this at any time in the app (riders: Privacy Center, "Marketing texts"; drivers: Notification preferences, "Marketing texts (SMS)"), or by replying STOP.

Frequency and rates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Opting out and help. Reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT) to opt out of marketing texts. Reply HELP or INFO for help. Reply START, UNSTOP, or YES to lift a block. Replying STOP to our number may also block verification codes from that number until you text START.

Sharing. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. This does not apply to service providers that send text messages for us, such as our SMS provider, which may use your number only to deliver our messages.

Cookies & tracking

We use essential cookies and privacy-friendly analytics. Where non-essential trackers are used, we obtain consent as required and honor opt-out signals.

Data security & retention

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, and retain it only as long as necessary for the purposes described or as required by law.

Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and the Veehk dating features are restricted to users 18 and older.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
